After resting for a day in Helen, GA (Mile 50) Jonathan and Yolo and some new-found friends were back on the trail yesterday, Saturday. They are aiming to make it to Franklin, NC (Mile 107) by Thursday or Friday.
Here are some pictures Jonathan sent from the trail. In the one with Yolo note the typical AT Shelter (Tray Mt.) which sleeps 7 people.
Hi Jonathan, Joan And I are back from Europe. We had a great time, lot's of good wine and food. We are excited about your trip and I will keep in touch. Bode says hello to Yolo, and can't wait to see you when you are in NH. We'll pick you up in Hanover for a good home cooked meal. All our Love, Gary & joan
